As a young boy seeking solace on a central California farm, Peter Ivancovich began his creative journey immersed in the pages of Vogue, dreaming of distant horizons. Navigating his path with an innate artistic flair and embracing his identity as a gay man, he cultivated a unique perspective that would shape his future endeavors. Stops in New York, and finally, Los Angeles led him to a successful career as a top Landscape Designer and Visual Artist. Always inspired by beauty in its many forms, and harboring a strong creative drive, Peter has lived life exploring his imagination. Influenced by fashion, nature, and featuring sumptuous color, the work has blossomed as Fine Art Photography now available for purchase online. As an antidote to today’s AI driven environment, Peter uses real objects in his dreamy tableaus and invites the Viewer to lose themselves in his unique creations. Over the years Peter has produced a series of different Photography Collections, been featured in several Galleries and had his own Los Angeles solo show entitled “Natural/Wonder”. Exploring the timeless allure of Old Hollywood through a fresh lens, the Hollyweird collection is both visually stunning and emotionally moving. Created with a certain tension between antique and modern and using old props sourced from rapidly disappearing Los Angeles Prop Houses, these images are carefully curated to evoke a sense of wonder and joy. Each print features a different hand-painted backdrop from an iconic Backdrop House that makes the final result look more like a dreamy painting than a photograph. A six-foot-tall antique model ship, responsibly sourced vintage taxidermy and a five-foot-long handmade glitter model of the Hollywood Hills are only some of the real-life objects utilized in this series.
